Electronic Control
Concepts' kVp
815 X-Ray meter.
Electronic Control Concepts now offers its popular kVp with increased flexibility to provide a unit specifically designed for low kVp and low mA operation. The low range option is perfect for digital x-rays, dental and fluoroscopy machines, which typically operate at lower kV and mA settings.
(ECC manufactures timing controls and instrumentation for x-rays. ECC's kVp Meter measures the peak voltage in an x-ray head by sensing the characteristics of the x-ray beam.)
The low range 815L goes down to 40 kV and has increased current sensitivity to operate dependably down to 5mA at 50 kV.

ECC's standard model 815 has proven accuracy up to 125 kV at 200 mA, while the new low range model is optimized at lower currents and operates up to 115 kV at 100 mA.
The new 815L boasts the same precision as its predecessor, the 815: an impressive kVp accuracy of 2% +/- 1kV at 25 to 100mA and an exposure time accuracy of 1% +/- 2 milliseconds.
The model 815L is built with the same excellent quality and accuracy standards as the model 815.
Optional accessories include a sleekly tailored carrying case for safe storage and transport as well as a remote display unit (Model 815RD) for easy readouts from a distance.
