This year's NFL season was fantastic and for New York Giants fans, it was simply over the top. The team lost their first two games, then reeled off six straight wins. Their young, under-achieving, over-rated quarterback became their young over-achieving, correctly-rated quarterback. (Nice work little brother.) And their nearly sacked head coach hoisted the Lombardi trophy to provide one very good reason not to be fired.

And those Patriots--who are from the very same town as the Red Sox!-- set the stage for the Giants' win perfectly by having the decency to go undefeated into the championship game.

The Giants famously won 10 straight road games to claim the title of Super Bowl champions. When they finally did return home as winners, a New York tickertape parade (such as it is these days) awaited them. DOTmed enjoys a great view of the Wall Street area from our Broadway offices and it was truly spectacular.
