Streamlined and customer-tailored Workflow Templates speed the process of navigation through the dataset so that the physician can apply their time and concentration to the clinical interpretation of the studies. Results from the Aquarius iNtution session can then be delivered to any referring physician via the included enterprise-friendly, browser-based AquariusWEB viewer.
JavaScript technology delivers the results in a rich, interactive but optimized package directly through their web browser. The AquariusWEB viewer can be deployed via a simple URL link, making it possible to seamlessly embed the viewer into an EMR or physician portal for secure delivery in the correct patient context. It is even possible to open and display these images on JavaScript-capable PDA or on a tightly-controlled PC in an operating room.

"TeraRecon has always been at the forefront of advanced tools for Cardiac CT interpretation, and in the wake of the recent decision by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to abandon plans to limit reimbursement for this procedure, we anticipate great interest in this procedure at ACC this year" said Robert Taylor, Ph.D, TeraRecon president and COO. "From our early work with cardiac CT pioneers dating back to 1997, TeraRecon has now developed a fully-capable advanced visualization workflow platform, Aquarius iNtuition, which supports acquisition, preprocessing, diagnostic interpretation, and delivery of live, interactive, 3D reports to the interventionalists and surgeons who are the ultimate end-users of the CT imaging data. Since we utilize the most powerful and widely-used client-server technology in the industry, we are confident that Aquarius iNtuition offers unparalleled performance, functionality, and workflow integration for advanced cardiac CT imaging, and as such that it represents the best-in-class and most complete solution for interpretation and management of Cardiac CT studies."
