This image demonstrates a congenital anomaly whereby the left coronary system arises from the pulmonary artery instead of the aorta, resulting in poor oxygen supply to the left heart and hence, hypertrophy of both the left and right coronary systems to increase oxygen supply to the myocardium, and development of collateral pathways.
