About Colorado Plains Medical Center
CPMC is a 50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by The Joint Commission. With a Level III Trauma Center, 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the hospital chiefly serves a two-county area of 35,000. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, nuclear medicine, CT, radiography, ACR-certified mammography and ultrasound. Rehab services include physical, occupational and speech therapies. Other services include behavioral health, cardiopulmonary, surgery, lab, obstetrics, social services, dietary and sports medicine. It was established in 1952.
About Western Plains Medical Complex
Western Plains Medical Complex is a Joint Commission (JCAHO) accredited 99 bed hospital, providing Southwest Kansans with health services that include Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology, a Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiac Rehabilitation. The hospital has imaging and diagnostic radiology services including a 64-slice CT, GE Lunar Bone Densitometer, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine, 24-hr. Emergency Care, Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Nutrition Counseling, Occupational Medicine, Pain Management, Respiratory Therapy, Social Services, Women’s Services, Physician Practices and ongoing community education.
