TomoSPOT skin markers are tested and proven for 3D breast tomosynthesis, providing clear visualization of underlying tissue with the least potential for “slinky” artifact compared to other mammography skin markers. Using TomoSPOT skin markers as a standard of care in DBT helps to reduce questions that lead to the possibility of unnecessary additional imaging. TomoSPOT skin markers consist of five distinctive shapes to identify nipple, moles, scars, palpable masses, and nonpalpable areas of concern/pain. Pinch-free adhesive backing allows for maximum patient comfort and easy removal after exam.
