The funds are being used to launch its products in the United States.
Mpathy has appointed George Borthwick, former President of Ethicon, Europe, as Non-Executive Chairman, and Ian Stevens, formerly Chief Financial Officer and U.S. General Manager at Optos plc, as Chief Executive Officer.
Mpathy Medical was founded by Consultant Gynecologist Dr. James Browning, to develop a range of lightweight, implantable mesh products for the surgical repair of female urinary stress incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
