ENTity (TM) NasoView
Flexible LED
Nasopharyngoscope
provides freedom of use
since it has no light guide cable
Patients battling cancer, ear, nose and throat abnormalities or simply facing a penetrating look inside their nose for deviations often face endoscopic equipment with limited flexibility and lighting.
OPTIM's patented ENTity (TM) NasoView Flexible LED Nasopharyngoscope, recently approved by the FDA for marketing, provides some solutions, including an unmatched high intensity LED light source that delivers superior resolution, complete mobility and maximum flexibility, according to Doug Fish, manager of sales & marketing/ENT Products, for the Sturbridge, MA-based company.
"Entity stands alone in the world of flexible endoscopy," he notes. "By freeing the physician from the 'tug' of light guides or external light sources and the need for AS/DC wall power, ENTity provides unparalleled portability."

Fish adds, "There is nothing like it today that is completely free from external wiring and light sources. It's totally self-contained and totally immersible, which provides for easier cleaning."
ENTity's LED light source is unique and proprietary in its lightness (it weighs less than 11 ounces) and its brightness (5500 Kelvin/natural sunlight quality) for exceptional visibility.
"There is nothing out there that matches it for quality or intensity," Fish says.
ENTity can also be coupled to any standard visual camera system for for better video imaging, such as Optim's VideoDirect system.
