Florida-based Artec Group Services is a distributor/wholesaler with special expertise in buying and selling all types of hospital and medical equipment, new, remanufactured and used. Its Miami warehouse carries a large inventory, including anesthesia machines, monitors, cath labs, surgical tables, ultrasound machine sterilizers, injectors and more. Its range of products also includes ecography, cardiology equipment, dialysis machines and pumps.

"Our main office is in Miami, but we have a regional office in Buenos Aires, Argentina as well as sales representation in Europe," notes company spokesperson Patrice Michel. Indeed, Artec's main markets stretch from North and South America to Eastern Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East.
"What sets us apart," Michel explains, "is our honesty, dedication and service. We aim to satisfy our clients by responding promptly. Should there be a problem, we don't hide. We solve it."

Currently 10 employees work with Artec's largely (95%) international dealer and end-user clients.

"We are seeing great demand for quality refurbished product in most markets," Michel adds. "However, in some countries, there has been a slight shift toward the Asian products due to their low price."

Since 2001, Artec has grown tenfold and expects a "good fiscal year" in 2008.
