ETS-Lindgren continues prominent involvement in EMC Europe 2023

CEDAR PARK, Texas, August 17, 2023 – ETS-Lindgren announced its technical contributions to EMC Europe 2023, the leading international symposium on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The conference will be held in person from September 4 to 8, 2023, in Kraków, Poland, at the Congress Centre in the Qubus Hotel. This year’s contributions include four invited presentations and one paper; ETS-Lindgren is also a proud exhibitor. Visit Booths #14 and 15 during the Conference Exhibition to learn about ETS-Lindgren's latest products and services. The Exhibition is open Tuesday and Wednesday, September 5 and 6, from 09:00 to 17:50 CEST; and Thursday, September 7, from 09:00 to 16:30 CEST. ETS-Lindgren's technical contributions begin Monday morning, September 4, with the half-day workshop “Innovative Wireless Test Methodologies for 5G New Radio and mmWave Applications” in Room C from 09:00 to 10:30 and 11:00 to 12:30 CEST. Co-Chaired by Janet O’Neil with ETS-Lindgren and Aurelian Bria with Ericsson, the workshop features five invited speakers from industry-leading companies, including Ericsson, Rohde & Schwarz, Boeing, ETS-Lindgren, and Ansys. Jari Vikstedt, ETS-Lindgren’s Director of Wireless Solutions, will present “Characterization and Measurement of Active Antenna System for NR 5G in Compact Antenna Test Range.”

Later in the day, a series of enlightening sessions await eager participants. From 14:30 to 16:00 and 16:30 to 18:00 CEST, Joel Kellogg, ETS-Lindgren's Subject Matter Expert and Director of Global Marketing, and Sergio Longoria, ETS-Lindgren’s Product Line Technical Manager of RF Filters, will join other industry authorities to delve into "Recent Advancements in HPEM, HEMP, and IEMI Protection – A Global Perspective" in Room B. This half-day workshop is co-chaired by Ilhem Toumi with ETS-Lindgren and Chaouki Kasmi with Technology Innovation Institute.

Simultaneously, in Room C, Co-Chairs Ms. O’Neil and Zoltan Zempléni with Thyssenkrupp Automotive will moderate another half-day workshop, “Technology Update on Automotive EMC Design and Test Methodologies for Modern Connected and Electric Vehicles.” This session features Zhong Chen, ETS-Lindgren’s Chief Engineer, and Garth D’Abreu, ETS-Lindgren’s Director of Automotive Solutions, as well as experts from Analog Devices and AVL.

Mr. Chen, Chair of the quarter-day workshop "Update on Standards ANSI C63.4 and ANSI C63.25 Series," will also guide an interactive presentation from 16:30 to 18:00 CEST in Room I on the first floor. Together with Nicholas Abbondante of Intertek, these active technical contributors to the ANSC C63® committee will share the latest published and expected future standards changes.
