As in any market, there are highs and lows over time when reviewing trends. The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) market is no different; however, symplr has seen consistent interest in MRI capital within the last 12 months. This applies to new capital, MRI options without a new imaging system, and whole system upgrades. There has not been a noticeable decrease of interest in MRI capital between 2022 and thus far in 2023. The data reflects what appears to be a decreased interest in solutions offered by some large MRI manufacturers.

The data below is collated from symplr’s 3,000+ provider customers, who have submitted their MRI capital quotes for a custom price benchmarking analysis. Between September 2022 and August 2023 symplr has identified additional savings of approximately $13.5 million for our provider customers. symplr has received executable quotes on MR solutions offered by Siemens Healthineers, GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, and Canon Medical Systems. The following information will review the activity of these manufacturers along with the Top 5 quoted solutions within each market segment.
