“LifeVoxel’s massive AI computing power, lightning fast communications speed and high level of security would be cost prohibitive for any imaging site, particularly stand-alone centers, to implement independently with traditional technology that is all CPU based,” comments Kovalan. “The comprehensive AImagine GPU-based platform was developed and refined over a decade and is covered by 14 international patents.”

Kovalan notes that app development tools and a teleradiology marketplace for additional staffing and subspecialty reading will be introduced shortly. As a cloud solution with a large number of diverse users, AImagine will have access to large and diverse datasets responsibly that will help support meaningful AI models built into the system and for app development.


“Along with access to these datasets, replicating the LifeVoxel model would require extensive R&D with GPU architecture to support real-time AI model generation,” says Kovalan. “Then for every application, the resulting model would have to be integrated into the workflow of radiologists, clinicians and staff to be useful. With all this already in place, we believe LifeVoxel is poised to make a major shift in the radiology marketplace, just as the iPhone and its app store did for the cellphone. For radiology, we similarly provide a single seamless platform for fully integrated applications and the ability to develop and share new apps that will enhance the practice of radiology, communications with referring physicians and patients and overall quality of care using intelligent and preventative-focus apps.”
