Koning Health has announced a series of new and upcoming installations of its Vera Breast CT device, marking continued growth in breast cancer imaging technology.

The Norcross, Georgia-based company has seen expanded adoption of its breast imaging solutions in Jamaica, California, and Texas, among other locations.

One of the recent highlights includes the first-ever installation of the Koning Vera in the Caribbean, at Radiology West in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This provides the region with state-of-the-art breast imaging technology, which has been limited in availability until now.

In California, Koning has introduced a mobile breast imaging unit through a partnership with Gnosis for Her. The mobile trailer is designed to bring advanced breast cancer diagnostics to underserved populations, addressing barriers such as income, time, and location.

In Texas, a clinic led by Dr. Richard Reaven, alongside his brothers and plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Paresi, will soon offer the Koning Vera in Dallas. Dr. Reaven noted, "Our goal is to deliver a pain-free breast imaging experience with the Koning Vera," highlighting the device’s ability to produce high-quality images without compression, in just seven seconds per breast.

Upcoming installations are also planned in Chicago, Sarasota, and Cincinnati, further expanding Koning's reach.

Lutao Ning, CEO of Koning Health, expressed excitement about the company's recent growth, stating that the expanding adoption of the Koning Vera is "a clear indication of the impact" the technology is having on breast cancer diagnostics.
