Canon Medical Informatics, based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, has been chosen by a major nonprofit health system in the Mid-Atlantic region to standardize its advanced imaging capabilities.

The health system, which is not being named publicly, comprises over 25 locations and will implement Canon’s Vitrea Advanced Visualization enterprise platform in a transition away from a multi-vendor approach.

The adoption of the Vitrea platform is aimed at enhancing efficiency, consistency, and diagnostic precision across the health system’s network. By centralizing 3D imaging capabilities, physicians will have uniform access to advanced tools, reducing variability and streamlining workflows.
