P-Cure opens its second production facility in Israel.
P-Cure has expanded its manufacturing footprint in Israel with the opening of a second production site focused on its compact proton therapy systems.

The new facility, located adjacent to its existing plant, will handle manufacturing and assembly of the company’s proprietary accelerator technology, a core component of its proton therapy units.

The Israel-based company said the move is part of a strategy to consolidate key production processes and lessen reliance on external suppliers, particularly for precision components. Centralizing these operations is expected to bolster supply chain resilience and shorten delivery timelines.

P-Cure’s compact proton therapy system is designed to fit into existing linear accelerator (linac) vaults, aiming to reduce the infrastructure and cost barriers traditionally associated with proton therapy. Proton therapy delivers highly targeted radiation doses, sparing surrounding healthy tissue, and is often indicated for pediatric cancers and tumors located near critical organs. Despite its clinical advantages, the high cost and size of traditional systems have limited broader adoption.

The new production line will also support P-Cure’s research and development efforts, including work on helium particle acceleration technologies. The company anticipates that increased in-house production capacity will lower system costs and allow for faster development cycles.

“This facility significantly strengthens P-Cure’s manufacturing independence and our ability to deliver systems faster while maintaining the highest quality standards,” said Udi Oren, P-Cure’s chief operating officer. “Concentrating critical production processes under one roof makes us more agile and better equipped to handle global supply chain challenges.”
