OhioHealth will open a new three-story health center in Canal Winchester, Ohio, on August 12, adding emergency, outpatient, and specialty services to the fast-growing community.

The emergency department will operate as a freestanding, full-service facility with 12 private treatment rooms, a resuscitation room, and separate walk-in and ambulance entrances. Diagnostic capabilities will include CT, X-ray, and ultrasound.

Mike Ezzie, M.D., president of OhioHealth Physician Group, said the center was designed with “flexibility and long-term growth in mind,” combining emergency, diagnostic, and specialty services for what he called a “seamless experience.”
A ribbon-cutting hosted by the Canal Winchester Chamber of Commerce will take place Aug. 11. The event is not open to the public.
