Siemens Healthineers has opened its first comprehensive U.S.-based Experience Center at The Pearl innovation district in Charlotte, North Carolina, expanding its presence in one of the company’s key markets.

The 60,000-square-foot facility is designed as a collaborative, hands-on space for healthcare professionals, researchers, and strategic partners. It showcases the company’s latest technologies across imaging, diagnostics, cancer care, and advanced therapies. The center is expected to host thousands of domestic and international visitors annually.

The Pearl, a mixed-use development led by Advocate Health, also houses the Charlotte campus of Wake Forest University School of Medicine and IRCAD North America, a surgical training institute. Siemens Healthineers is partnering with IRCAD to provide medical imaging systems and assist with curriculum development for surgical training.

“Our new Experience Center perfectly captures what and where we want to be as a company,” said John Kowal, president and head of the Americas at Siemens Healthineers. “Every interaction within the center is an opportunity to build trust, spark new ideas, and reinforce our dedication to collaborating to improve patient care and treatment delivery.”

The Charlotte location adds to Siemens Healthineers’ broader footprint in North Carolina, where it also operates a technical training center in Cary and maintains partnerships with several major health systems.
