Prescott’s Med has acquired Tenacore, a Costa Mesa, California-based provider of depot-based medical device repair and parts, in a move that expands the company's nationwide footprint in biomedical service solutions.
Tenacore, founded in 2000, has built a client base that includes hospitals, independent service organizations, and in-house biomed teams. The company offers repair services and replacement parts across a variety of equipment, including patient monitors, infusion pumps, and electrosurgical units.
Prescott’s Med, headquartered in Monument, Colorado, said the acquisition enhances its support for healthcare providers managing in-house biomedical service strategies. By adding Tenacore’s infrastructure and inventory, Prescott’s Med broadens its ability to deliver depot repairs across a wider range of equipment categories.

“This strategic move represents far more than an acquisition by bringing together industry-leading specialists to create an unparalleled, nationwide depot partner for biomedical teams,” said Brian Straeb, chief executive officer of Prescott’s Med. “By unifying our expertise, infrastructure, and service excellence, we’re delivering a new standard of reliability and responsiveness for our customers across the country.”
Prescott’s Med includes several specialized service units such as Prescott’s Inc. (surgical microscopes), Heartland Medical (anesthesia), PMM & Washer Solutions (sterilizers and washers), Adepto Medical (infusion pumps), and Pioneer Biomedical (patient monitors). The company continues to grow through a combination of acquisitions and internal expansion.
With the integration of Tenacore, Prescott’s Med increases the scope and volume of its depot operations, now offering a broader array of services and access to a more extensive parts inventory.
