DirectMed Imaging has acquired Tri-Imaging Solutions, combining the two companies under the Tri-Imaging name to form an expanded provider of diagnostic imaging parts, service, and training with operations spanning MR, CT, and X-ray modalities.

The Madison, Tennessee-based Tri-Imaging will integrate DirectMed’s global footprint and inventory — supported by affiliated businesses including LBN Medical in Denmark and ScanMed in Omaha, Nebraska — into its operations. The company will continue under the leadership of its existing team, with Eric Wright serving as CEO.

Tri-Imaging offers parts distribution, on-site service, technical support, and a well-established training program for imaging engineers. DirectMed, a portfolio company of Seattle-based Frazier Healthcare Partners, brings a large inventory of parts and systems, along with repair services across multiple modalities.

“DirectMed and Tri-Imaging share a common purpose of keeping critical imaging equipment up and running so providers can focus on patient care,” said Wright. “Bringing our teams together under the Tri-Imaging name strengthens and expands our ability to globally support customers with the parts, service, and training they need across imaging modalities.”

Kent Berkley, a partner at Frazier, called the addition of Tri-Imaging a “natural next step” in scaling DirectMed’s imaging platform and said it aligns with the firm’s broader strategy in healthcare services.

The combined entity aims to offer customers access to a broader inventory, expanded field and depot service capabilities, and enhanced training resources. Clients include healthcare networks, independent service organizations, and equipment manufacturers.

Frazier Healthcare Partners has backed over 200 healthcare companies since 1991. It continues to invest across the U.S., Canada, and Europe with a focus on long-term healthcare infrastructure growth.
