RadNet has acquired Radiology Regional, a Southwest Florida imaging provider, in a move that adds 13 locations to its network and strengthens its presence in the state.

Radiology Regional, a division of LucidHealth, operates outpatient imaging centers in Naples, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte and Sarasota. The group offers a range of services including MR, CT, PET/CT, mammography, ultrasound, and X-ray. The acquisition expands RadNet’s presence in Florida to 18 centers, and adds approximately 400 employees and 44 contracted radiologists to its workforce.

The acquisition is expected to generate about $100 million in additional revenue for RadNet in 2026.

“RadNet is proud to enter a dynamic region of Florida and build on Radiology Regional’s well-trusted history,” said Steve Forthuber, president and CEO of Eastern Operations at RadNet. He added that the company plans to introduce its AI-powered DeepHealth tools across the newly acquired centers to support early detection and streamline workflows.

LucidHealth, which is based in Ohio, said the decision to sell the division aligns with its long-term strategic goals. “We are confident that RadNet’s acquisition creates meaningful growth opportunities for both organizations,” said LucidHealth CEO Steve Corbeil. “This transition enables us to sharpen our strategic focus while positioning Radiology Regional for continued success in outpatient imaging services.”

Based in Los Angeles, RadNet operates more than 400 outpatient imaging centers across eight states. The company also offers AI and radiology IT services through its DeepHealth division. LucidHealth continues to manage a network of radiology practices serving over 140 healthcare facilities in six states.
