Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) has entered a multiyear agreement with Inspirity Health Partners aimed at strengthening the health system’s supply chain operations while maintaining local oversight of purchasing and operational decisions.
Under the agreement, TMH will gain access to supply chain resources and expertise from Mayo Clinic Supply Chain Management through Inspirity Health Partners, a venture cofounded by Mayo Clinic Supply Chain Management and HumanityCorp.
The Tallahassee, Florida-based nonprofit health system said the partnership is intended to support strategic sourcing, purchased services management, data analytics and coordination between clinical and supply chain teams. Officials said the arrangement is designed to improve operational efficiency and financial performance while allowing TMH to retain control over local decision-making and governance.

“Our supply chain team has built a strong, effective foundation that we are proud of,” said David Adkins, executive director of supply chain management at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. “This partnership allows us to build on that momentum—adding scale, expertise and advanced analytics while preserving local ownership. It strengthens our ability to continuously improve, and ensures we are well-positioned to serve our patients and community for the long term.”
TMH cited its existing category management structure and physician engagement programs as factors supporting the collaboration. The organizations said the partnership will allow multiple supply chain improvement initiatives to be pursued simultaneously without significantly increasing demands on internal staff.
Bruce Mairose, vice president of Inspirity Health Partners and division chair of supply chain management at Mayo Clinic, said the organizations plan to operate as an integrated supply chain team.
“It is truly an honor to work alongside the TMH team,” Mairose said. “TMH brings a disciplined approach and a clear commitment to continuous improvement. Together, we are building one fully integrated TMH–Inspirity supply chain team—seamlessly combining local expertise with national scale to deliver meaningful, sustainable value.”
Founded in 1948, TMH operates a 772-bed acute care hospital and a network of specialty centers, physician practices and residency programs serving communities across North Florida and South Georgia.
The agreement reflects a broader trend among health systems seeking external expertise and analytics capabilities to manage supply chain costs and operational performance.
