Cary, IL-based Barrington Medical Imaging, LLC (BMI), an industry leader in providing top quality service, parts and refurbished equipment solutions for CT, MRI and PET/CT has entered into a definitive long-term agreement to provide service for Kings Medical Group (KMG), Hudson, OH.

Since 1981 King's Medical Group has developed and implemented strategic and innovative diagnostic imaging and therapeutic solutions for hospitals, imaging centers and physician groups.

"King's focus for the future is to deliver real value to its customers by fostering the alignment of physician and hospital interests and implementing action plans to grow hospital revenue. We look forward to working with BMI as our service provider. BMI is dedicated to delivering quality service. They have invested in experienced management and field service engineers and continue to develop new technologies to better serve their customers. They are an excellent organization for us to partner with in the coming years as we deliver value to our customers," states Al Van Kirk, President and CEO, King's Medical Group.

Effective November 16, 2008, BMI assumed full service responsibility to maintain all CT, MRI and PET/CT equipment within the current KMG portfolio throughout the United States. These customer sites include Siemens, GE, Philips and Hitachi equipment.

Barrington Medical Imaging, LLC and Kings Medical Group view this new relationship as a great strategic fit. BMI has grown its service engineer work force by hiring all of KMG's field service engineers. The addition of these experienced and talented individuals further strengthens and expands BMI's service resources and service capabilities throughout the United States.

As a result of this agreement both companies will benefit from newly formed synergies: the realignment of field service engineer resources, introduction of new service technologies, enhanced management focus, joint growth opportunities, and a sharper strategic vision for the future.
