James H. Skogsbergh, president and CEO, Advocate Health Care, is the chair-elect and will assume the role of chair in 2010. Michael G. Rock, M.D., chief medical officer and medical director of the Mayo Rochester Hospitals in Rochester, Minn., is the immediate past chair. Current AHA Board member, Glenn Steele, M.D., president and CEO, Geisinger Health System, is the 2009 Board Liaison to the Council.
