Senator Edward M. Kennedy
Senator Edward Kennedy collapsed during the inaugural luncheon Tuesday at the National Statuary Hall in Washington. He suffered a seizure. The problem was attributed to fatigue and he was released from the hospital Wednesday after an overnight stay.
The senator was seen smiling and greeting President Barack Obama just before the luncheon. TV cameras were removed while lunch was served.
After the news feeds resumed, President Obama was toasted and made brief remarks in which he acknowledged concerns about Kennedy.

"Right now a part of me is with him. This is a joyous time but a sobering time. My prayers are with him and his family."
Kennedy was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and underwent surgery in May 2008.
Sen. Robert Byrd's office has denied reports that he also suffered a health episode at the same luncheon.
