Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the country's top ranked not-for-profit pediatric health care systems, recently welcomed Carolyn Kenny into her new role as Executive Vice President, Clinical Care.

In her new role at Children's, Kenny is responsible for the overall clinical care organization, including Children's at Scottish Rite, Children's at Egleston, Children's at Hughes Spalding and associated physician operations. Carolyn is responsible for leading the system in achieving operational excellence and integration of the Children's delivery system.

where she and the company led the market in service and quality. Under her
leadership, Kaiser was recognized by J.D. Power as the Highest in
Customer Satisfaction for Health Plans in the South Atlantic and named
one of the Top 10 employers in Atlanta by Atlanta magazine.

Kenny's prestigious professional career is matched only by her admirable
community contributions. She has served on numerous Boards, including the
Georgia Association for Health Plans, the Georgia State University
Institute for Health Administration Advisory Board, the Young Audiences
Board of the Woodruff Arts Center and the Georgia Conservancy. Kenny has a
Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Irvine and a
master's degree in health services administration from the University of
Michigan. She is also a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
Kenny is married to Craig Smith, Ph.D., and has a step-daughter, Sommer.
Kenny resides in Brookhaven.
