mA Waveform on Oscilloscope
Arcing, caused by instability in mA current, wreaks havoc on tube performance and your high voltage system. Check mA using a scope and calibrate according to the OEM specifications. The OEM service manual lists mA tolerance levels. Other checkpoints for arcing are the HV cables, wells, and high voltage/filament tanks.
