RSNA 2005 - What's Your "Action Plan"?

by Robert Garment, Executive Editor | November 16, 2005
Many of you will be going to the RSNA 2005 at McCormick Place in Chicago right after Thanksgiving -- either as exhibitors or attendees.

I hope you have your "Action Plan" down in writing - otherwise you could have a lot of regrets when it's over.

An "Action Plan" is a list of priorities of companies to visit, seminars to attend, and people to see. And with a show as big as RSNA 2005, you're definitively going to need a plan, or important objectives could fall through the cracks.

Where should you start planing your plan? Check out the RSNA 2005 website. All the exhibitors are listed - don't wait to find who will be there and where the booth is after you get to the show. There are new exhibitors every year and some can be important new resoures for you.

Also check on all the seminars and educational programs that will be given, the date, time, length, and cost if any.

You also might want to think about...dinner! If you plan to take customers out, knowing where you might want to go, and even making reservations in advance, can really reduce the stress.

Write down "Why am I going to the show?" Your answer will help you focus on making the most of the time and money you're spending to go.

And speaking of "must sees," don't forget DOTmed will be at Booth #7101 - so plan to come by and say "hi." And now for me it's time to say "bye," because I have to make my own Action Plan for the show.
