Recently I had the good fortune of having lunch with John Vartanian, president at Medical Imaging Resources. I have known John a long time and I have watched his business grow to be one of the most successful in the industry.
We were in a fancy Wall Street restaurant and we noticed a couple of young brokers at a nearby table giving a waiter a hard time.

I have a little contest going with him to see if DOTmed can attend a trade show he is not already participating in. I am not sure who is winning but it is always a pleasure to run into him.

Recently I visited my friend, Robert Manetta, the president of Nationwide Imaging Services. Just like New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, my friend Robert sits in the middle of a room surrounded by his staff. He hears everything being said and everyone can hear him. I was impressed with the three-dimensional conversation taking place in the office.
As Robert and I walked down the street to a hearty lunch at a local deli, I asked him if being in the middle of all that buzz drove him a little crazy.
