Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. has announced a reduction in force, DOTmed News learned Wednesday.

The U.S. operation of Siemens Healthcare is downscaling certain Sales, General and Administrative (SG&A) roles.

This reduction in force will impact approximately 3 percent of the U.S. Sales and Service workforce and is a result of the current economic environment in the United States, according to Lance Longwell, Director of Public Relations, Healthcare Communications, Siemens Healthcare.
