It's good business practice to give your company a simple name that says what you do. Unfortunately, that can result in many companies having similar names. This is the case with Tek Med Equipment Sales, Staten Island, N.Y. and Tech Medical Sales, Queens, N.Y.

Now the bad news: Earlier this month, DOTmed reported that Tech Medical Sales was charged by the Queens District Attorney's office with being a fake medical company that allegedly impersonated doctors and sold medical equipment.

Meanwhile in another borough, Jay Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez of Tek Med Equipment Sales, Staten Island, N.Y. have lost business because of marketplace confusion that they are affiliated with the company facing criminal charges.
So let's get it right: Tek Med Equipment Sales is not associated with Tech Medical Sales.
