Geoffrey A. Smith, president of Medical Coaches, demonstrates his Siemens Magnetom Essenza 1.5 Tesla MRI trailer at the recent 2009 RSNA technical exhibition.

"Most of our employees have been with us for 15 to 20 years. We're very experienced at what we do; we take a great deal of pride in what we do and we like to form partnerships with our customers and our major suppliers."
In addition to the high-field MRI system, the trailer features a number of developments such as a NASA-designed ceramic material that reflects the sun's rays and stabilizes temperature inside the trailer, diffused air-conditioning that creates a "curtain" of air over the entire interior, and functional improvements like sliding doors and electric door latches. Medical Coaches' hybrid PET/CT trailers even feature auto-leveling systems.
