GE representatives took time to give a rundown and review of the big news from the company for a variety of modalities.
Hoomam Hakami, president and CEO, Interventional Healthcare Systems introduced the segment and explained GE's theme, "See. Your way. Clearly."
"We're very excited and proud to be able to launch eight new innovations and one new collaboration at the show this year," Hakami said.

Anita Makhija, GM, Interventional Marketing, discussed the eight innovations for the Innova 4100 and further news.
Anthony Justice, CT regional modality leader, covered Gemstone Spectrum Imaging (GSI) which can be utilized when dealing with kidney stones among other applications.
Thomas Verghese, GM and chief marketing officer of MR highlighted GE's MR Touch, explaining the ease of diagnosis for liver stiffness. The MR Touch gives an option for looking at the liver to determine elasticity of the organ, extending MR as a diagnostic tool. Verghese said GE has refreshed its entire portfolio to enable customers to adapt to current financial climates and reimbursement issues.
GE also displayed the Optima MR 360, a sub-million dollar MR which can provide nearly 95% of the scans as more expensive counterparts.
Finally, Chief marketing officer, Ultrasound, Paul Mullen explained two of GE's ultrasound innovations utilizing GE's flagship ultrasound product, the Logic E9 and the Venue 40 with its compact design simplified user interface.
