Blue Horizon Medical Services, out of Orlando, Florida is a biomedical services provider offering field service, rebuilding and remanufacturing of O.R., surgical and exam tables; dental chairs; stretchers; lights; and hydraulic controls. Concentrating on the Florida and Georgia markets, the company provides mail order and overnight repairs. The company is owned by Crystal Leroy, whose husband, Scott Leroy, is the chief technician.

Most recently the company has introduced a new line of replacement hand controls and remotes for O.R. tables. "We can save customers money on repair. Instead of getting replacements from OEMs, they can save by remanufacturing the hydraulic cylinders found on most O.R. tables, chairs, and other equipment," Scott Leroy said.

"These are direct replacement hand controls or remotes, so there is less to worry about than with other replacement options. They look very much like the original with a more comfortable and easy to hold unit," he said.
A DOTmed user, Blue Horizon Medical offers eight different models to fit most table lines on the market today, including some of the older tables that are still in use. The growing company has a lot on the horizon including manufacturing of original equipment such as O.R. tables and fiber optic overhead surgical lights.
