DOTmed News met with Nancy Makoben, Unotron's director of sales, at this year's HIMSS conference. She introduced the company's new SpillSeal® keyboard, which can be fully submerged in water or sprayed down with hospital cleaning solution.
The SpillSeal® keyboard stands out from similar products because it has no drain holes; it is completely sealed. The company also uses this technology for mouse devices and smart cards. The medical grade keyboard is designed for infection control on nurse carts and workstations.
