In negotiation
with Russian Technologies
General Electric Company said Thursday it was in talks with Russia's state-run technology company to produce medical equipment in Russia.
"We can confirm that we are now in negotiations with Russian Technologies with the aim of producing high-tech medical equipment in Russia," GE spokesman Arvind Gopalratnam told DOTmed News. "It is too early, however to discuss further details."
Reuters reported Tuesday that Russian Technology's boss said the company was in discussions with GE to create a joint venture to produce tomographs. The Russian business also said it was in talks with Siemens.
