Weisman Medical Enterprises
Specializes in Respiratory
Therapy Equipment
I graduated from Vincennes Univ. in 1980 with an AA OF RT and went to work in Illinois for a contract service in hospitals doing Respiratory Therapy. They found that I had a knack for repairing equipment. So they sent me to Puritan Bennett Service School for MA-1s, PR, AP and other units of that era. Along with my duties as a Respiratory Therapist I also was repairing the department equipment and other pieces.
After moving with the company from Illinois back to Indiana, I continued my work but on the side took the name Weisman Medical Electronics. Soon folks were asking me to locate particular pieces for them and my business continued to evolve. I took on the name J.W. MedSalvage, and was doing Electrical Safety Checks on contract for a company here in Indianapolis, Ind. I continued to do my Respiratory Care at several hospitals as well as repairing equipment and safety checks on the side.
In 1993, as a pedestrian I was hit by a car in a parking garage, which put me out of Floor Therapy. I went to work full time as
Weisman Medical Enterprises specializing in Respiratory Therapy Equipment. I also assist a friend who sells HIV test kits and TB Test Kits abroad.
