“The bank has its things it can do, we can come in and complement that and be a second source of capital,” he said.

“People are seeing even in well-banked situations, that due to the financial crisis, it’s good to maintain multiple sources of capital rather than a single player,” Sandstrom added. “You can’t put all your eggs in one basket.”
