(Long Island, NY) Medical equipment manufacturer, Quantum Medical Imaging has completed a digital upgrade on existing ceiling mounted radiographic system at the Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic in Anchorage, AK. The sale and installation was facilitated by Advanced Diagnostic Imaging, a Quantum "Gold Star" Dealer in the U.S.A.

Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic is a full service orthopedic clinic specializing in physical therapy, sports medicine, joint replacement, ACL reconstruction and more. The Clinic provides Alaska's top athletes, weekend warriors, and others with individualized orthopedic care since 1969.

The system upgrade included an installation of a dual receptor configuration with an elevating float top table with a 14" x 17" CXDI-55G removable digital receptor and a wall stand with a fixed 17" x 17" CXDI-40G-COMPACT digital receptor. This configuration provides the facility with full flexibility in imaging their patients. The portability of the CXDI-55G allows the detector to be placed around the patient versus positioning the patient around the detector, which is critical when imaging some of their emergency room patients with restrained mobility. This upgrade installation results in facilities improved patient care and patient through-put.
