Toshiba America has named Gary Pitre the national sales manager for its imaging systems division, which makes HD cameras for medical, industrial and military uses.

The Irvine, Calif.-based company said Thursday that Pitre had served as Eastern regional sales manager with the division since 2006.

"Gary's broad-based experience as a sales professional in the industrial imaging market coupled with his expertise gained over the last several years at Toshiba Imaging makes him ideal for the national sales management position," Paul Dempster, director of medical imaging and factory automation, said in a statement.
