Since 1997, Canon Medical Systems has introduced seven generations of flat panel sensors (the Canon CXDI-11, Canon CXDI-22, Canon CXDI-31, Canon CXDI-40G, Canon CXDI-40C, Canon CXDI-50G and now, the Canon CXDI-50C flat panel sensors), offering a full range of DR system solutions for various applications.
Canon delivered the industry's first portable DR system - the Canon CXDI-31 DR system - in 2001. Its second generation portable DR system - the Canon CXDI-50G DR system - is a light-weight, large imaging area (14-inch x 17-inch) DR system that was honored with a 2005 Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA) from the Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek Magazine.
