Hi, everyone! I am sorry not to update my diary last 2 weeks because I just got an oral surgery for cyst removal. It was kind of rough, but I am getting much better and here I am!

Let's talk about health today. When I went through DOTmed industry news, I found an interesting issue, Americans `more ill than English.' It says that Americans aged 55 to 64 are up to twice as likely to suffer from diabetes, lung cancer and high blood pressure as English people of the same age. I think this research has arisen as a result of daily food life. American food is basically fatty and sugary. Actually, they sell many fat-free or sugar-free products at any markets in the U.S., but I wonder how many people care for these products.

There is another interesting story on CNN - School soda pop machines are about to lose their high-calorie fizz. Soda has been a particular target of fighting obesity because of its caloric content and popularity among children. I believe this is a good start to modify childhood obesity, and it is important to let them perceive about their health condition from childhood.

That is not necessarily to say that this result came up with only food problems, however, this high rate could be less if you think better of your daily meals.
