Rick Stockton and Carmen Arata tie the knot

If you have been involved in diagnostic imaging for the last 30 years, you probably know Rick Stockton.

I have a little contest going with him to see if DOTmed can attend a trade show he is not already participating in. I am not sure who is winning but it is always a pleasure to run into him.

For the last few years, at trade shows and at some of the IAMERS conferences, Rick has been joined by Carmen Arata, who is one of the nicest and most charming ladies you ever want to meet.

Carmen and Rick were married recently and my wife Barbara and I had the good fortune to attend the wedding.

While at the wedding, I met Ron Brewer, Rich Scholz and Skip Watkins, whom some of you may remember as a past president of the AHRA. I also learned about some management changes at Atlas Medical Technologies of Florida, which we covered today in our online news.

Skip and Ron told me that they are optimistic about the future. They have a refurb facility, an installation team and a service team, who are all experienced when it comes to GE CT scanners.

If Atlas of Florida is as lucky in business as Rick is in his love life, then I will be expecting great things out of St. Petersburg.
