Siemens Healthcare and Getinge Group subsidiary Maquet said Tuesday they finalized a deal to offer joint products for use in hybrid ORs.
Hybrid ORs are operating rooms for both traditional open surgeries and for catheterization procedures or angiographies.

The "heart" of the joint offering is Siemens' Artis zeego interventional X-ray system and Maquet's Magnus operating table, the companies said. Maquet also can provide customers with a range of OR products, including lights and anesthesia machines.

The first units will be installed in May, according to the companies' press release.
