Quantum picks new head of U.S. sales

Carestream Health subsidiary Quantum Medical Imaging LLC has tapped Larry McCants to serve as director of U.S. Sales.

On May 1, McCants became the head of Quantum's U.S. digital and analog X-ray sales business, the Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based company announced Wednesday. McCants has been in the industry for more than 25 years, and has worked for radiological equipment and PACS companies.

Quantum, which makes the Q-Rad-Digital DRX line of DR systems, was bought by Carestream in fall 2010.
