Only 15 companies have attained both DOTmed Certified and DOTmed 100 status, proving their solid reputations through internal review by DOTmed and external ratings by DOTmed users.
THE, Technological Horizons Enterprises, is one such company.
The independent service organization, based in Dalton, Georgia, is a professional alternative to the OEMs for systems, service, sales, and parts.

"We specialize in nuclear, MRI, and ultrasound and we partner with a couple of other companies to cover the other two modalities: CT and X-ray," said Dwayne Bledsoe, sales and finance manager.
THE provides custom solutions for every type of diagnostic imaging facility, specializing in unbeatable prices on stock parts to reduce customers' expenditures. The company operates out of a 15,000-square-foot facility for system staging, calibration, and refurbishing as well as a $3 million parts inventory.
Most business is domestic in the US but the company also does global business. "We sell to end users and brokers. We have several customers overseas particularly for parts for models that the OEMs no longer support," Bledsoe said. Markets include the UAE, Australia, Holland, Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
In terms of market trends, Bledsoe confirmed what some other users have also told DOTmed lately, that customers are looking for used equipment, but not very used.
"The trend is toward newer equipment, more up to date and technologically advanced equipment that is just not that readily available on the open market as of yet," he reported.
As far as what sets THE apart, it's their experience. "Combined between the three seasoned engineers we have almost 50 years of GE-related service experience," Beldsoe said.
