I am Akane Naka from Japan,
an intern at DOTmed. You can read my
diary every week here in DOTmed News
Hi. I work on searching articles for
Career Corner on DOTmed news. It is a good opportunity to do this and know what kind of education or training they have in hospital, healthcare center, university, college etc. Last week, I wrote about residency and fellowships of Southern Medical Center, and one of their related person just registered DOTmed. It is great that the article worked out with you and brought us more users! I will keep trying to find good issues to help you all out!!
Turning to another topic, I went to one of the popular museums in NYC called
MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art) - Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi won the commission with a design. There are six display departments - Architecture and Design, Drawings, Painting and Sculpture, Photography, Prints and Illustrated Books, and Film and Media. I found it was hard to see everything in a day because each of collections was very interesting and made us stay long to take a look. I spent most time in Photography section on the day.

Whenever I visit art museums, I wonder where the ideas come from, what artists think about, how it could be this way or that way and so on. I wish I could have such an artistic sense, and then I might see everything in different way. I guess that is why art is fascinating!
They also have shops in the city, and we can find Japanese products
MUJI there!!
