Hi, we have a new lady working for us this week. Her name is Vrinda Sewkaransing, originally from the Republic of Suriname (which used to be called Dutch Guiana) located in the North of South America, and she has been in NY for 13 years. She just finished her college bachelor's degree in accounting, and works in accounting at DOTmed. She also has three children. She is interested in movies, music and swimming. She is happy to work with us since DOTmed team members are sweet!
About myself, I went to Empire State Building last Friday with my friend, who was visiting from Japan for a vacation. We used to work together at Kansai International Airport, and it has been more than 4 years since we met last. It was very nice to go up the top of Empire State Building late at night because of the beautiful night view and there are fewer people than daytime.
The top of Empire State Building has very dramatic lighting - it sits right in the center of Manhattan! Did you know the colors have theme and meanings? It was Red, White & Blue when I went there because it will be the 4th of July soon in America -- Independence Day! The lights are green for St. Patrick's Day, and red and green for Christmas. I think it is interesting to see the color of the lights change, depending on what important date on the calendar is approaching.
