According to the latest report from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, employment increased in health care, among other sectors.
Overall, the unemployment rate declined from 7.3 percent to 7.0 percent in November, with 28,000 jobs gained in health care. Jobs in home health care services and offices of physicians saw the most growth.
So far, health care has added an average of 19,000 jobs per month for 2013, compared with an average monthly increase of 27,000 in 2012, according to the report.
