Yuko Zaima (L) and
Akane Naka (R)
our two Interns from
Japan who are learning
the ways of business
in the U.S.
Hi, this week has been busy for DOTmed because we are exhibiting at two trade shows AHRMM and FIME. Phil and our sales guys have gone to Florida for a week and have been meeting many people there. I am sure that they will come back to New York with a sense of fulfillment.
Last week, a Japanese new intern, Yuko Zaima from Osaka, joined DOTmed team. She has two younger sisters who live in Hiroshima - Yukos hometown - with their parents. She is an International and English Interdisciplinary Studies major in Osaka Jogakuin College, mainly taking Human Resources class in English for her future career. Also, she used to belong to the cheerleading club at the college, and her cheerful and active character suited it. She has been working hard at a caf restaurant almost for 3 years as the leader of customer service. She went to Utah for a month when she was 13 years old, and is happy to come back to the US again. Now she is staying with Spanish host-parents in Brooklyn, and likes them. It seems that she is having a good time in New York so far. She works hard at DOTmed because her hope is to figure out something valuable for her future involvement during her 6-week-stay. We all are glad to have her here.
As for me, I went to see African Dance Performance at Central Park on Friday night. The show was exotic and full of passion. In summer, there are many open-air events all over the places in New York concert, play, performance, etc., and some of them are for FREE! Lets get some fresh air after your work and enjoy the summertime!
