CME Program/Activity

Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Continuing Medical Education activities at Good Samaritan Hospital have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles. Good Samaritan Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. It is the policy of Good Samaritan Hospital to ensure fair balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor of all its sponsored programs. All faculty participating in sponsored programs are expected to disclose to the audience any real or apparent conflicts of interest related to the content of their presentations. Course Description
At the Los Angeles Cardiology Society Forum, three to four interesting cases are presented by the participants. These cases include the entire spectrum of clinical cardiology, from congenital to acquired heart disease. The cases are presented in detail using the most advanced non-invasive and invasive testing. The clinical management of these cases is then discussed by the assembled group of clinicians, and a treatment plan is agreed upon. The goal of this conference is to present interesting and controversial cases, and to stimulate discussion and even disagreement.
